EXPERIENCE HORSES IN THE CITY.
The Burnaby Horsemen’s Association (BHA) is a registered non-profit, located on the edge of Burnaby Lake Park.
The club was founded in 1968 and we are proud to continue operations more than 50 years later. Our land is generously leased from the City of Burnaby and our Association is governed by a rotating volunteer Board of Directors (who are all members). The maintenance, upkeep and daily operations are all run by volunteer club members.
With three barns, the BHA is home to up to 59 horses, who are independently owned and cared for. Stall subleases are available for members, who can also enjoy the facility's many amenities, including an indoor arena, three outdoor arenas, a round pen and access to trails.
Riding lessons, open houses, horse shows, demos, school trips, youth programs and seniors visits are all ways in which the Burnaby Horsemen's Association stays connected with the community.

The Burnaby Horsemen's Association welcomes the public to visit our facility and experience horses in the city.
Visitors are required to follow our Guest and Visitor Policy and if your group or organization would like to schedule an educational session or dedicated visit, please contact us for more information.
Public visitors are welcome to enter the barn perimeters for free manure pick up when a member is present. We respectfully ask that the public does not enter the facility unless supervised by a member. If invited, visitors may enter the barns to see the horses, but please do not open any stall doors or feed any of the horses. Each horse at BHA is privately owned and cared for, and every one has individual feed requirements and limitations.
