The Urban Horse Project Story

Our story starts with the idea of bringing the magic of interacting with horses to youth and families living in Vancouver's eastside. The healing and empowering benefits of humans working with horses is increasingly understood. We can bring horses into our urban spaces, for those who could otherwise not have access!

We are driven by the understanding that horses and nature are good for people, that all youth need and deserve support and opportunities, and that everything is possible when we work together.

Our Vision is diverse, vibrant and healthy communities where everyone is respected, empowered and connected to themselves, others and the natural world.
