  • For enjoyment and/or competitive success with horses.

Urban Horse Project

The BHA is proud to be home of the Urban Horse Project. This weekly program supports Burnaby Neighbourhood House and offers Equine Assisted Learning programs to youth in our community, teaching important lessons in self discovery that build skills and resiliency.

Christmas with the Horses

Each year, the Burnaby Horsemen's Association welcomes the public to our facility over the holidays for barn tours, pony rides, demos and a chance to meet Santa!

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, our open house has been on hiatus since 2019, but we look forward to welcoming the community back in late 2023 for Spring With The Horses. Follow us on social media so you can stay up to date on the details once announced.

Girl Guides

Prior to COVID-19, the BHA welcomed a number of local community groups to tour the facility and learn about horses, including local Girl Guides. When it is safe to do so, we look forward to welcoming our community back at our facility.
